Embassy School Outreach Program to increase knowledge, understanding and awareness of Rwanda among Japanese Youths:
The Embassy is undertaking school outreach programs targeting Japanese schools in Japan with the objective of increasing knowledge, awareness and understanding of Rwanda among Japanese Youths.
On Tuesday, 18th March 2025, the Embassy participated in a yearlong study of Naruse High School projects on Rwanda. Students and teachers in these schools spent a year doing a research study on Rwanda. 40 students, organized into 8 teams, presented projects aimed at strengthening connections between their community and Rwanda. Their passion and dedication in learning about Rwanda and contributing to fostering stronger ties between the two communities were truly impressive.
The projects they developed were innovative, covering various aspects of Rwanda's development, including language, culture, dance, art, and strategies for promoting education in Rwanda.
The Naruse High School has made this an annual program, and the Embassy has participated and guided the students in understanding Rwanda.
