President Kagame Participates in Youth Town Hall at AGRF
Thursday, 14 September 2020 – President Kagame participated in a Youth town hall meeting under the theme “Africa’s Food System of the Future” organised alongside the Africa Green Revolution Summit -AGRF 2020 taking place at the Kigali Convention Centre.
In his remarks, President Kagame said that the potential of agriculture on our continent is vast; but we need to invest more, and get more out of the investments we have already made. This includes public infrastructure and value chains, particularly for the growing urban food markets that underpin prosperity in rural areas.
The 10th Annual Summit of the African Green Revolution Forum brings together over thousands of delegates from governments, the civil society, the private sector, research community and development partners.
